For the past three decades, highly acclaimed theater and opera director Dr Jonathan Miller has pursued the unlikely hobby of photographing unusual and bizarre objects. In his acute, perceptive gaze, ordinary details of the everyday world, often ignored or overlooked, somehow take on a life of their own. Here, for the first time, these strange and enigmatic pictures are presented in a unique and highly personal volume, together with Jonathan's notebook jotting, which illuminate his observations on life and art.
